About me
Hi, I’m JUNG IE HAN. A digital-forward creative making brands live up to their full potential.
I have been crazy about art since I first learned to draw and paint. Using that background, I transitioned into design and earned a BFA in Communication Design from the Pacific Northwest College of Art. Currently, I live in Portland, Oregon with my husband and children.
My style is based on applying new, innovative ideas to all platforms, both in print and on the web. Research makes up the foundation of my design process, and I work thoroughly on this initial step in order to develop a compelling visual concept for my client. I strongly believe that successful design comes from a profound understanding of the user experience.
I handle all types of printing materials using Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign. In the web design area, I am hand-coding sites with Dreamweaver grounded on web standards. Although I’m a web “designer”, I’m strong in HTML, CSS, and Flash. I have also been extending more of my JavaScript and ActionScript in recent projects.
When I’m not designing, you can often find me taking pictures or watching movies. I’m a really big fan of typography, and I draw, paint, and sculpt in my free time.
