Challenges

Skamania County Chamber of Commerce was in need of a responsive website focused on elevating tourism within the region. In addition to marketing the natural attractions of the area, the primary objective of the website is to promote local businesses and increase the number of overnight stays. As a result, the website features recommended trip itineraries and extensive use of beautiful photography.

Solution

Reorganize and repurpose site content to easily facilitate trip planning and booking overnight stays. We evaluated popular content and reworked the site architecture to improve mobile usability. With the requirement of integrating a third-party application with design barriers, we worked collaboratively to provide the best possible user experience.

Result

I have seen a significant increase in average session duration and a decrease in bounce rate. This leads me to believe that the new website is connecting with website visitors more, with a better user experience.
